Congratulations to all 40 KOOL Kids from the 2007-2008 school year! We celebrated on Thursday, June 19th with an evening of food and fun as all forty KOOL Kids were honored by KOOL’s Camelback Jack and special guest speaker Andy Dzurinko, author of “The Power of Optimism”.

A special congratulations goes to the winners below who received a $4,000 scholarship from Fulton Homes!

So you think you've got a KOOL Kid?

A new school year is upon us. You can start the 2008 - 2009 year off right by showing your KOOL Kid how much it means to you that they 'keep up the good work' by nominating them for one of four (4) scholarships that will be awarded by 94.5 KOOL FM at the end of the school year.

Each scholarship is for $4,000 and is awarded through Fulton Homes.

94.5 KOOL FM has partnered with your friends at Fulton Homes
to really put some 'Good Times' together for the future of your children.

Ok, here are the details:

    * We're looking for students in the 6th, 7th or 8th grade
    * Students must attend Maricopa County public, private or charter schools
    * One student nominee will be selected each week
    * Students will be selected based on their scholastic, extracurricular, and attendance achievements
    * At the end of the year, 4 of the 40 weekly nominees will receive a $4,000 scholarship

Each of the 40 nominees will receive a backpack full of KOOL goodies. The backpacks are given to the students at presentations at their school! Now that's KOOL!

Each weekly winner will be interviewed by Camelback Jack. You can hear those interviews on Jack's show on Monday afternoons around 3:15pm, on KOOL 94.5.
